Harry Reese is a graduate of Brown University and a Professor in the Art Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  He founded the Turkey Press in 1974 with his wife and partner Sandra Liddell Reese and together they have produced over forty publications.  In 2001 the Press was selected along with three others to be part of a touring exhibition in Germany called the Rocket Four, traveling to Leipzig, Münster, and Frankfurt.  The Turkey Press concentrates primarily on contemporary poetry in a variety of formats and edition sizes.  In 1990, the Reeses established another imprint, Edition Reese, to publish artists’ books in collaboration with other artists and writers.
