BIOGRAPHY

Barbara Tetenbaum is a Professor and Head of the Book Arts Department at the Oregon College of Art and Design. Her primary artistic interest is the act of reading, and she uses the media of books, prints, installation, and animation to explore this subject matter. Her honors include being Distinguished Chair at the Hartford Art School, a 2010 Sally Bishop Fellowship at the Center for the Book in New York, and a finalist for the 2013 Minnesota Center for the Book Arts Prize. Barb holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
